After a successful stop in Istanbul, Turkey, ROAD – Retail Design Show continued its journey to the center of it all: New York City.
In tandem with events, ICFF (May 17th to May 20th) and NYCxDesign (May 9th to May 20th) ROAD NYC featured a day dedicated to architecture and interior design, providing a platform for architects, designers and key brand players to meet in a networking and educational environment.
In partnership with AIA NY | Center for Architecture, Coloredge and Florim, ROAD hosted a panel of renowned architects, specializing in the unique discipline of retail and interior design. This panel focused on the dynamic role of architects and their power to facilitate personal experiences and emotions in social and cultural contexts. Talking about the need of creating experiences within the retail store, connecting the brand, the environment, the consumer and the products sold is the architectural challenge today. Bringing together these experts was a great experience for architects to come and learn from.
